new Members classes

At New Community, there is a desired membership pathway for each person that God adds to our church. When you become part of the New Community family, we want to help you discover the next steps of your spiritual journey.

Whether you’re new to New Community, or if you’ve been attending for a while and have not become a member, the place you should begin is Starting Point! Starting Point is our 3-part series of new member classes where you will hear about our beliefs as followers of Jesus Christ, learn about our mission and vision, as well as the things that keeps us growing at New Community! Also, during Starting Point you will meet our Sr. Pastor, our Elders, and have the opportunity to meet new people. Like you, the people in Starting Point are eager to grow and get connected to the New Community family!

STARTING POINT IS OFFERED MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR (WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL). EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YOU ARE READY TO BECOME A MEMBER, YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO LEARN ABOUT WHO WE ARE! SHOULD YOU AUDIT THE CLASS AND DECIDE TO JOIN AT A LATER TIME, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO RETAKE THE CLASSES.
